As a well respected, passionate and widely published British Wildlife Photographer, Steve Magennis ARPS has been capturing images of British birds, mammals and landscapes over many years.
He has built a good reputation and a large library of images and during this time he has achieved a distinction of ARPS of the Royal Photographic Society and is working towards his Fellowship.
This site has been created to offer an insight into Steve's personal approach to wildlife photography, and a showcase of his work, giving opportunities to purchase works of art and/or images for publication and display.
In addition to photography, Steve is a well-known lecturer on photography and ornithology, offering entertaining and informative talks presented to a variety of clubs and societies around the country. From Northamptonshire he has travelled around the country to be a guest speaker at a number of country fairs and photographic shows.
He also attends the British Bird Fair each year and a number of Country and Game fairs including the CLA Game Fair and the British Falconry and Raptor Fair. Steve exhibits his work locally in Northamptonshire and sells framed works in a number of shops and galleries around the country. He also offers commissioned (natural history) photography and personalised greetings cards.

Steve offers a number of practical workshops designed to introduce participants to wildlife photography in a controlled environment. The aims of these days are to increase your working knowledge of your own equipment, and improve your skills so enabling you to produce better images.
