 After my first visit to this Short-eared Owl location I have revisited a number of times in the last two months. These trips to this site have been in all types of weather but very seldom in good warm lighting. By watching these birds I have learnt alot of their behaviour and habits which I have and am trying to show in the images I take.
Unfortunately over the Christmas period the location has been widely publicised and has rather been spoilt by large numbers of photographers and bird watchers of which some have failed to use good fieldcraft skills and common sense.
